What is Twitter(Or Tweeter)? Why its Getting Popular Day By Day

WHAT IS TWITTER ? WHY EVERY BUDDY IS TWITTING THESE DAYS ??????????

There are Many Answers to these Which I found On Yahoo Answers :

I think you mean "Twitter", which is a social networking site that allows you to post updates about yourself and keep track of what friends/contacts are posting.

Twitter is a social networking site that you can update from your computer or your phone; you can also track your friends updates from your cell, whenever you want. There are also some programs that allow you to plug your twitter account into livejournal, myspace etc.

Twitter is a cross between blogging and texting.

You basically post very short messages about what you're doing at that moment.

For example:

8:00am : going to work
8:15am : got to work
8:17am : have lots of email
9:13am : why is there no coffee?
10:00am : meeting time
10:30am : in meeting - i'm so bored
11:00am : early lunch
(and so on)

I honestly don't see the point. What could possibly be that fascinating about your (or anyone's) life that would make other people want to fawn over ever little detail every few minutes? And if something was important to you, isn't it worth writing more than a short sentence?

Whatever. I can remember people telling me that this "email thing" was equally as useless and pointless.
My Answer: Twitter Is A fastest Growing Social Networking Site.It Is So powerful That Now it is ready to takeover Brazil's Press Media.

TWO TERMS COMMON IN TWITTER

Following: The Persons To Whom you are Following on Twitter

Followers: The Persons Following You On Twitter

WHAT IS SO COOL ABOUT TWITTER ?

We take an example If there are 1000 Followers of yours. And You simply Write or update a massage(Which can be of maximum 160 caracters or less) "i am studding at the moment",Then All of your 1000 Followers will get this Massage or Update Inthere Account.Same you will get updates From people you are Following.
